Mister RJ

I did a shoot with RJ and family a couple weeks ago, I'm just now getting to the shoot in my editing craziness. Poor RJ wasn't a happy little guy the day of the shoot. He was teething really bad, and spent most of the time crying. But man you put the kid in his jumper-roo, and he was happy as can be.

We grabbed some family photos at the b
eginning. It was so nice to see Becca again, we graduated high school together, and I thin
k I've seen her like twice since than. It's crazy how we all are getting married and starting families, to think 5 years ago I was just graduating high school.

Anyways on to the photos.

Going to the Chapel, and They're Gonna Get Married!!!

My good friends Tori and Grant are finally getting married!! I was so happy to hear they were finally tying the knot, as they've been together as long as I can remember. I was even more thrilled when they asked me to photograph their wedding. I can't wait until their wedding in October. We spent a warm afternoon a couple weeks back walking around downtown Rhinelander. Gosh there was some gorgeous places to photograph, and it was fun. To bad I don't live around there or I'd always use that location.

Here's some of my favorites. Believe me there was so many photos I loved.

Rain, rain, go away!

It seems like the rain is also causing cancellations of photo shoots. Again it happened today. I'm sitting here on my laptop watching it pour. And tomorrow looks like it will be the same. Which means more canceled photo shoots.

I don't know if any of your watched the Belmont today. Man, it would've been nice to have watched a Triple Crown winner. But no such luck. That seems to be one of the hardest things to accomplish. I sat on the couch cheering Big Brown on, but as the announcers said something wasn't right. Being a horse lover, and owner for the majority of my life...I could tell something wasn't right.

I had a great week. I met one of my July wedding couples on Friday. I can't wait to shoot their wedding. Adam and Ashley are beautiful, great people. And the ideas we came up with for their photos excites me so much.

Well, I'm going to try and get some work done. Maybe this storm has passed and I can turn on the editing computer and try and get caught up. Thank you for your patience, Becca, Tori, and Courtney. Your photos are coming...

Daisha

I photographed Daisha for a second time, a couple weeks ago...before I had this blog. I wanted to share the photos of this adorable little girl. We headed to my favorite park in town, and I just followed her around. Doesn't her mom have her dressed in the cutest outfits?

Enjoy!

Miss Ellee

I love being able to go back and do numerous shoots for clients. Ellees' mom and I went to the same high school. We even waited for the bus together. So of course I was excited when she asked me to photograph her daughter Ellee. We did her 6 month photos and last week we did her 9 month photos. Ellee is on the verge of walking, and as a parent of a young one...I say good luck. I know I'm not ready for my little girl to walk.

It's so nice to shoot outside, however it looked like it was snowing. But alas it was just
constant white puffs of dandelion everywhere.

I don't know about you all but I'm so ready for the weekend. A weekend full of photography, and a rodeo. I love my job!

Welcome Baby Madelyn

The best feeling in the world is having clients call you to come back and do additional shoots. I did family pictures for them back in January, and a couple months later Kristen asked me to do pictures of their new arrival, once she arrived. Of course I was excited, and enjoyed meeting little Madelyn. Kristen told me that all she does is sleep during the day, and is awake all night. Well I was excited to think of a sleepy newborn that I can move around. Madelyn had other plans that day, and was awake the entire time I was there. But we still got some great shots. She is 10 days old in these photos. And oh so adorable!

What a character!

Last week I did a shoot with Ian, whom is 5 years old. He was so funny. I love his remarks all though I'm not sure his mom did. When I asked him if he would sit in the grass, he gave me a look and said "I don't like to sit in the grass." I had the hardest time not laughing, but I knew I needed to keep it inside. And then he told me that he didn't like the dandelions, so I picked out everyone within a huge vicinity of where we were shooting. Gosh kids make me laugh. Here's a couple of my favorite images. Doesn't he have the most beautiful eyes!
