First Senior of the Year

I was so excited when Madel called and wanted to do her senior pictures early in the summer. All my other seniors are in August. We had a good time walking around Stevens Point, and I love the photos we got. Madel is a gorgeous girl, and I wish her all the luck in her senior year.

Ashley and Derek

Oh was this a fun fun couple. We finally got to shoot a couple weeks back, after having to reschedule twice because of rain. We went to Rib Mountain State Park, which is a gorgeous location. And man was this couple fun, every time I asked them for something, I got attitude back. I love fun couples and I can't wait until their wedding next summer. And of course I can't forget when their wedding is because it's my birthday.

You can totally see how much they love each other in these photos.

Just a friendly reminder....

Summer is now here!

Wear sunscreen. Now I know that sounds like a well duh moment. But I think it slipped my mind yesterday. I photographed a beautiful outdoor wedding....and let's just say I'm lobster red today, with a very sexy farmer's tan. Haha.

It totally slipped my mind that the sun would be beating on my black shirt all day. I'm not the only one though, there were a lot of red faces, shoulders, and arms at the reception. So that's my friendly reminder of the day.

Also here is a sneak peak to an engagement session I did last week. I can't wait to photograph Ashley and Derek's wedding next summer. They are such a fun couple and so in love.

I hope everyone has a great week!! Be on the lookout for lots of new photos this week.

Tanner

I feel so blessed, really truly honestly blessed. I am so lucky to be able to do what I love as a job. I can’t even call it a job, most people hate their jobs. I love going to work! It hit me today that all of my hard work has paid off, when I checked my email and had 10 new emails from clients wanting to book. 10 emails in less than a day!! I am just so thankful to my friends and family who have given me the support when I wanted to quit. I was terrified and overwhelmed at the thought of opening my own business.. And now I can’t picture a day when I don’t get to do what I love. I’m mostly thankful for my husband though, he’s so patient and understanding for how much time I put into the business. He stays up late as I work away just to keep me company. It feels great to do what I love, and not have a job that I hate.

I really did blog for a reason not just to write about myself. I was finally able to fit into my schedule to finish up the photos with Tanner. The first time we got together Tanner was having a really tough day. The poor little guy cried the majority of the time he was at the studio. Well not this time, he was a happy go lucky little boy. And man did he give me a work out. I spent and hour chasing him around. But man was it worth it. Doesn’t this little guy have eyes to die for?

Bryce

I usually have so many little girls to photograph, but the last couple shoots have been boys. No complaint here, because I have some adorable boys with gorgeous eyes. Their moms are going to have to watch out when they get older.

Bryce is the cutest little guy, he's one year old. I really enjoyed heading to park to photograph him.

Mister RJ

I did a shoot with RJ and family a couple weeks ago, I'm just now getting to the shoot in my editing craziness. Poor RJ wasn't a happy little guy the day of the shoot. He was teething really bad, and spent most of the time crying. But man you put the kid in his jumper-roo, and he was happy as can be.

We grabbed some family photos at the b
eginning. It was so nice to see Becca again, we graduated high school together, and I thin
k I've seen her like twice since than. It's crazy how we all are getting married and starting families, to think 5 years ago I was just graduating high school.

Anyways on to the photos.

Going to the Chapel, and They're Gonna Get Married!!!

My good friends Tori and Grant are finally getting married!! I was so happy to hear they were finally tying the knot, as they've been together as long as I can remember. I was even more thrilled when they asked me to photograph their wedding. I can't wait until their wedding in October. We spent a warm afternoon a couple weeks back walking around downtown Rhinelander. Gosh there was some gorgeous places to photograph, and it was fun. To bad I don't live around there or I'd always use that location.

Here's some of my favorites. Believe me there was so many photos I loved.
